Deloitte Legal advises Portobello Capital on Grupo Mediterránea sale to Sodexo
Deloitte Legal has advised Portobello Capital on the sale of Grupo Mediterránea to Sodexo, in a transaction involving one of Spain’s leading food services providers.
The mandate included competition law advice, covering the clearance of the transaction before the European Commission and the Chilean Fiscalía Nacional Económica, reflecting the cross-border nature of the deal.
The teams
The competition team included Mercedes Segoviano Guilarte and Juan Alba Barettino.
The tax team was formed by Pablo Esteban Arce, María González Muñoz and Gonzalo Cuesta Garayoa, while the employment team included Beatriz Prieto Panadero, Carmen Llorente and Blanca Romero Alonso.
The corporate M&A team involved in the due diligence process included Susana López Claver, Marina Silva Sabell, Isabel Pérez Dobarro and Guillermo Ávila Jiménez.
From the public law team, Fernando González Hernández and Ignacio Bazarra Requena participated in the transaction.
Additionally, the transactions team included Carlos Gómez-Arroyo Oriol and Laura Sánchez Barrilero, with support from Deloitte teams in Peru, Chile and Portugal.
