Gómez-Acebo & Pombo acts for Sherpa Capital on Omega Spice deal

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised Sherpa Capital on its investment in Omega Spice, a producer of spices for major food companies.

Sherpa Capital is a private equity fund manager that focusses on investing in medium-sized companies with a turnover ranging from €20 million to €300 million.

Omega Spice, headquartered in Archena (Murcia) produces and distributes of spices, herbs and dehydrated vegetables. Around 95 per cent of its products are exported.

The Gómez-Acebo & Pombo team advising Sherpa Capital was led by Jesús Ibáñez Benlloch (pictured).

Omega Spice was advised by Garrigues. The Garrigues team included Murcia-based partners Octavio Llamas and Juan Bolea.
