Garrigues advises on €4m hospital sale to Asisa

Garrigues has advised Alter Capital fund on the sale of its Hospital La Salud to HLA Hospital Group (Asisa) in Cádiz for €4 million

Hospital group HLA (Asisa) has purchased Hospital La Salud in Cádiz from the Alter Capital fund and other shareholders. The operation, which was signed this Friday, has been closed at almost €4 million euros, according to sources close to the transaction. The hospital, with 40 beds, will increase HLA group´s presence in Andalusia, already the third largest hospital group in the region by turnover, after QuirónSalud and Vithas.

According to Asisa, with the incorporation of this hospital, a reference centre in the private health sector in Cadiz, Asisa reinforces its own network, expands its medical staff and improves the quality of the care it provides to its policyholders and patients.
