GA_P advises Visma in the acquisition of Moloni

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Visma, a Norwegian software provider with revenues of more than 1730M Euros, in the acquisition of Moloni, one of the most recognized SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions distributor companies in Portugal and with activity also in Spain.

Alex Pujol, Beatriz Dosdá and Mónica Martells, partner and associates of the commercial team, have advised on the transaction.

This operation in the technology sector will unite Visma and Moloni to continue growing and consolidating as one of the major powers in the European business software market. Founded in 2012 by Ruben Costa and Álvaro Saraiva, Moloni provides cloud-based billing and point-of-sale (POS) software solutions to more than 30,000 customers in Portugal and Spain.

GA_P has advised on all the operations carried out by Visma to date in the Iberian Peninsula (Holded, Declarando, Woffu and, now, Moloni).
