GA_P advises Caixabank on a €750m financing granted to Sonnedix

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Caixabank in a €750 million refinancing transaction in favor of Sonnedix, for a 197 MW portfolio of regulated assets in Spain, consolidating seven financings into one.

This financing agreement marks an important milestone for Sonnedix, as it provides significant financial flexibility and ability to accelerate its pipeline of projects under development. By refinancing existing assets, Sonnedix has also created a solid platform from which it can expand its commercialization and hybridization strategies, develop wind and storage assets alongside its solar PV projects, and reach new customers.
