Eversheds steers Room Mate´s landing in Ibiza

Eversheds Sutherland has advised Kike Sarasola´s chain Room Mate on the opening of its first hotel in Ibiza

Room Mate, the boutique hotel chain founded and chaired by the businessman Kike Sarasola, appointed ambassador of Ibiza by the Ibiza Luxury Destination brand, will open its first hotel establishment on the island in May 2021.

Located in the historic hotel El Puerto in the Ibiza marina, the new Room Mate Angel its named after and dedicated to deceased motorcycle racer and much loved Ibiza resident Angel Nieto.

Kike Sarasola stated: “I am especially excited to name it Ángel as a tribute to Angel Nieto.” He also added that the hotel wants to be “a new meeting point for Ibizans and lovers of the island this next summer. ”

Room Mate Ángel will have 228 rooms, an impressive 500 sqm. rooftop with views of Dalt Vila. Swimmingpool, spa, piano-bar, restaurant-club and event room. The piano-bar and the restaurant-club will be managed by one of the main Ibizan restaurant chains.
