Emily Monastiriotis: Simmons & Simmons global managing partner
Simmons & Simmons has named Emily Monastiriotis as its new Global Managing Partner, effective May 1. She will succeed Jeremy Hoyland, who has held the position since 2011. Currently serving as International Head of Litigation and a member of the firm’s International Executive Committee, Monastiriotis has held various leadership roles throughout her tenure at the British law firm.
A specialist in construction-related disputes and an expert in fire safety litigation, Monastiriotis has successfully spearheaded key initiatives aimed at leveraging technology and AI to enhance the firm’s legal practice. She also leads Simmons & Simmons’ mentorship program, reinforcing her commitment to talent development.
