Ecija to move its Madrid offices to Milla de Oro

Ecija will move its Madrid offices to a building located in Calle Serrano 69, which occupies over 5,000 square metres, on seven floors.

The law firm will move from its headquarters located in the Cuatro Torres district, to occupy the whole building, designed by architect Fernando Higueras. The property also has a car park, a gym, a restaurant, an auditorium with seating for 100 people and a large outdoor terrace.

Ecija’s new headquarters will be located next to the Registro Mercantil of Madrid, the American Embassy and other business law firms such as Allen & Overy, Hogal Lovells or Pérez-Llorca. The space will host the nearly 250 professionals working at Ecija in Madrid and will allow the law firm to continue its growth path and attract new talent.

This move is a result of the growth experienced by the law firm in recent years, which has required Ecija to triple the space of its current location in just five years. Ecija will move to its new headquarters from 1 January 2023. The building, owned by the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros, has been the headquarters of Santander Asset Management, Santander Group’s investment fund manager.

“This new headquarters will enable us to continue to grow in line with the law firm’s needs. It will be the meeting place for our clients, professionals and teams”, says Hugo Écija, chairman of the law firm. “It will also allow us to consolidate Ecija Academy, with a luxurious auditorium in the heart of Madrid”.
