A spokesperson from the firm said: “This hiring is part of the firm’s vocation for growth, which in recent times has been betting on the reinforcement of critical areas of Business Law, such as Corporate Governance, Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions.”

Patricia Gómez-Cambronero focuses her professional activity on Tax advice to national and multinational companies. She highlights her experience in Tax advice in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Tourism and Retail sectors. Likewise, she advises on a recurring basis on Corporate and M&A operations. She joins a Tax team that has 10 partners and more than 30 professionals in Spain.

Gómez-Cambronero holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Carlos III University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in Business Tax Advice from ICADE. Likewise, she worked as a lawyer within the Corporate Tax planning and restructuring department of Garrido Abogados and in recent years has served as a partner in RSM’s tax area.

In the words of Hugo Écija (pictured right), founder and executive president of ECIJA: “The Tax area is key for large firms, not only because of its“ closeness ”and transversality with others such as M&A, but also because of the good time that large firms enjoy. At ECIJA, we are always open to growing and incorporating talent to help us consolidate our full – service positioning. The arrival of Patricia to a great Tax team that already has 29 partners at a global level, is an example of the firm’s clear commitment to leading more traditional areas of law.”

According to Patricia Gómez-Cambronero (pictured left): “Joining ECIJA is the beginning of a stage with great responsibility but at the same time very exciting. The recognition of the firm and its expertise in the TMT sector, make a perfect tandem to want to accompany the firm in its global positioning.”
