Ecija expands into Andalusia with Lean Abogados
Ecija has expanded its footprint in Andalusia through the incorporation of the Lean Abogados team based in Seville. The move brings a group of seven professionals into the firm, led by four new partners: Leandro Sequeiros, Javier Moreno, Fernando Ollero and Francisco Hidalgo, together with the rest of the professionals who previously formed the Lean Abogados office in Seville.
The new team will operate from Ecija’s office on Avenida de la Palmera in Seville, described in the announcement as a strategic location within the city’s business fabric. The incoming partners and their team have experience advising national and international companies, business groups, entrepreneurs and investors, alongside an established presence in the Andalusian business market. With this addition, Ecija reinforces its capabilities in the region across Commercial, Tax, Litigation and Employment law, as well as restructurings and M&A.
Strategic rationale
The incorporation forms part of Ecija’s broader strategy of adding established teams and talent in what it considers key locations across Spain, combining local market knowledge with the firm’s multidisciplinary, technological and international capabilities.
