DLA Piper assists Hines with Airbus Barajas headquarters acquisition

DLA Piper has assisted Hines with the purchase of the Airbus headquarters in Barajas. It is a sale & leaseback operation since the aircraft manufacturer remains a tenant for six years

The facilities, acquired for, €29.2 million, and with a total surface of more than 43 thousand square metres, are located in the Corredor del Henares sub-market, close to A2 motorway and approximately 20 minutes driving far from the city centre.

DLA and Knight Frank have been Hines Global Income Trust´s advisers on this operation, while BNP Paribas acted for Airbus Defence and Space.
