DLA Piper and Cases Lacambra on Satel deal
DLA Piper advised Arcadis Group on the acquisition of Satel (Servicios Auxiliares de Telecomunicación). Cases Lacambra advised the shareholders of the sellers on the operation. Bestinver acted as financial advisor to the Satel shareholders.
Satel is a Spain-based power design and engineering consultancy with approximately 250 professionals. With more than 35 years of experience, the company specialises in electricity transmission and distribution networks, substations, high-voltage infrastructure, renewable energy, telecommunications, environmental services, permitting and data centre-related power infrastructure, serving clients across the energy and digital infrastructure sectors.
Arcadis provides data-driven sustainable design, engineering and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. The company operates in over 30 countries with more than 34,000 professionals worldwide and generated gross revenues of approximately €5 billion in 2025. It is listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
