DLA Piper advises on Cegasa´s sale for €26.3m

DLA Piper has advised on the sale of Cegasa to Mexican group Autlan for €26.3 million 

As Iberian Lawyer could confirm, a DLA Piper Madrid office team has been the legal advisor on the sale of the magnaese dioxide unit of Cegasa, property of Sherpa Capital, to Mexican industrial group Autlan for a value of €26.3 million.

According to the firm, DLA Piper´s team was led by Corporate partner Teresa Zueco and also included corporate legal director, Remei Sánchez, and lawyers Pablo García and Luis Gutiérrez.

Teresa Zueco (pictured) develops its activity in the areas of General Business Law, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Private Equity, LBO, MBO, MBI, and special situation funds. She has also extensive experience in cross-border transactions with Latin American and French investors. Before joining DLA Piper, she developed her professional activity in several international firms in Madrid, Brussels and Paris. She graduated in Law from the University of Zaragoza and holds a Master´s degree in European Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She is also a member of Madrid, Brussels and Paris Bar Associations.
