DLA Piper advises banks on IVI-RMA Group financing transaction

DLA Piper has advised a bank syndicate on a syndicated financing transaction for the IVI-RMA Group that will help its consolidation in the UK

The banking syndicate, led by Banco Santander and comprising, among others, CaixaBank, BBVA, and Banco de Sabadell, has financed IVI-RMA Group for the acquisition of the UK group Create Fertility and certain corporate purposes of the group.

IVI-RMA is considered the world’s leading reproductive medicine group.

The Financial Law team was led by DLA Piper´s partner and head of this practice César Herrero (pictured), with the participation of senior associate Alberto Rubio and associate Sara Espina. Nerea Cemlyn-Jones Aldaz, of counsel and English Law specialist, and Jamie Knox, DLA Piper’s New York office partner, also participated in the transaction as advisors in those jurisdictions.
