DLA Piper ABBC advises Maya Capital on €65M RE deal

DLA Piper ABBC has advised Maya Capital LLP on the €65 million acquisition of a portfolio comprising of seven buildings

This deal was Maya Capital LLP’s largest transaction to date and its first Real Estate investment in Portugal. Maya Capital LLP has established a local team led by Antonio Pinto de Abreu and intends to acquire more Real Estate assets in Portugal.

Maya Capital creates sophisticated investment strategies across all major real estate asset classes located in Western Europe. To date, Maya Capital’s main focus has been the UK regional office sector, where it has completed 14 transactions, for a gross acquisition price of c.£164m. Maya Capital launched its first growth and capital expansion strategy at the end of 2014, with a focus on adding value through direct involvement in the operations of small and medium-sized real estate related companies.
