Dentons: Luis San Emeterio joins as new counsel
Dentons has hired Luis San Emeterio and Lucía Rojo Martínez as new managing counsel and associate, respectively, of the labor and employment department. The new counsel joins from Alemany, Escalona & De Fuentes Abogados and the associate from Labormatters to reinforce a strategic area.

Luis San Emeterio
Throughout his twenty years of professional experience, San Emeterio has specialized in labor law advice to both companies and individuals. Thus, his experience is focused on legal advice on all kinds of labor issues and legal representation in court in all labor matters. Likewise, he regularly acts before the different Public Administrations, such as the labor inspection, the managing entities and common services of the social security or the advisory bodies of safety and hygiene at work at state or autonomous level. In the field of legal advice to companies, he has participated and coordinated collective restructuring processes of all kinds, from collective dismissals to processes of modification of working conditions of all kinds.
Before joining Dentons from Alemany, Escalona & De Fuentes Abogados, San Emeterio has worked as a lawyer in other relevant national and international law firms such as EY Abogados, Gómez Acebo & Pombo or in the consulting firms Watson Wyatt and Mercer Human Resources Consulting. He combines his professional work with teaching at Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
Lucía Rojo Martínez
He is joined by Lucía Rojo Martínez as an associate of the international firm. Coming from Labormatters, Rojo is an expert in advising national and multinational companies on labor and employment law matters. Among the different matters that complete her expertise are the negotiation of company Equality Plans; assistance and preparation of Social Security trials; assistance and preparation of administrative trials/conciliations; management and preparation of Equality Plans for companies; or the coordination and leadership of labor due diligence.
