The profile
Jorge Carmona is counsel in the Corporate and M&A practice at Dentons in Spain. His practice focuses on corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, company law and corporate governance. He has been involved in numerous M&A transactions across multiple sectors, including joint ventures, share issues, shareholder disputes, corporate restructurings and private equity transactions. He also advises both public and private companies on corporate governance matters.
He is a collaborating lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Commercial Law at the San Pablo – CEU University.
Carmona has been recognised since 2022 by Best Lawyers as one of the leading lawyers in Spain in Corporate and M&A Law and Private Equity Law. In 2023, he was also named Lawyer of the Year in M&A by Iberian Lawyer in its Forty Under 40 awards.
