Ecix names Gary Robertson AI practice partner
Ecix has promoted Gary Robertson to partner in its Artificial Intelligence practice, the firm announced on 30 April 2026. Robertson, who joined Ecix six years ago and has built his entire career within the firm, moves up from Senior Manager.
The profile
Throughout his tenure at Ecix, Robertson has led teams and projects spanning advisory, consultancy and Legal Operations, with a particular focus on complex mandates in highly regulated environments.
In recent years, his work has centred on the practical application of AI regulatory frameworks and the design of governance models for organisations integrating these technologies into their operations. He has contributed to studies, publications and working groups on AI regulation in the Spanish market, and participates as a lecturer on specialist programmes covering technology regulation, AI and regulatory compliance.
