Founded in 2018, in Porto, and currently with more than 20 employees, TAIKAI provides the connection between companies and programmers through personalised hackathon experiences (programming marathons). Among its clients are entities such as Microsoft, OutSystems, Nissan, Pfizer and the European Commission, which, through TAIKAI, access a global network of more than 50 thousand programmers and can launch challenges on an open innovation platform and test and validate innovative technological solutions by ‘crowdsourcing’. Bepro, developed by Betblock Technologies, creates protocols, networks and software development kits (SDK) to decentralize the programming area. The team of more than ten technicians and programmers is now moving to TAIKAI.

Cuatrecasas’ team of lawyers was coordinated by partner Vasco Bivar de Azevedo (pictured), from the Corporate and M&A area, and included associates Nuno Lima da Luz (TMT), Tiago Martins de Oliveira (Fiscal), Sofia Monge de Araújo (M&A) and Liliana Almeida de Moura (Labour).
