Cuatrecasas Portugal advises Hillebrand on acquiring Unedecom

Cuatrecasas has advised the global leader in specialised freight forwarding services Hillebrand, on acquiring the Portuguese logistics service provider Unedecom

Hillebrand, a leading forwarding, transport and logistics provider to the alcoholic beverage industry, non-hazardous bulk liquids industry and other products that require special care, has announced its acquisition of Unedecom; a leading Portuguese logistics service provider specialised in the transportation of non-hazardous bulk liquids and dry bulk products. The company offers a high-quality end-to-end service offering to both regional and global customers. According to Hillebrand, this acquisition marks the second transaction in a little more than a month, and it is in line with business plan objectives of growing through acquisitions by focusing on creating more specialised, efficient and sustainable service solutions.

Hillebrand is specialised in the alcoholic beverage industry, the non-hazardous bulk liquids industry, and in other products that require special care. Unedecom is specialised in the bulk transport of liquids and solids in special containers for all industries.
