Cuatrecasas counsels Barrabés on Maestre Bikes acquisition

Cuatrecasas has advised Barrabés Ski Montaña, S.L.U., a company belonging to the Barrabés group, on the acquisition of the entire share capital of Maestre Bikes, S.L.

Maestre Bikes, a company that owns three bicycle repair and sales shops located in Bilbao, Vitoria and Santander, is one of the main retailers in the cycling sector in the Basque Country, distributing well-known brands such as Specialized, Orbea and Megamo.

Through this operation, the Barrabés group continues its expansion process, strengthening its position in the area and consolidating its presence at a national level, where it already has a total of twelve points of sale.

Previously, the Cuatrecasas Zaragoza office had advised the Barrabés group on the incorporation of the Tomás Domingo, S.L. business, located in Barcelona, into its network of shops.

The Cuatrecasas team advising on the transaction was led by Zaragoza office partner Antonio García Lapuente (pictured left), and comprised Bilbao office partner Elvira Azaola Monedero (pictured right), and lawyers José Ahedo Santisteban, Ignacio Liria Jordá and Guillermo Giménez Agudo.
