Cuatrecasas advises Pitchwise on stake acquisition in Valencia CF
Cuatrecasas has advised Pitchwise Holdings, an investment fund focused on football clubs with a long-term approach to sustainable growth, on the acquisition of a significant stake in Valencia CF.
Pitchwise has reached an agreement with Valencia CF and its majority shareholder, Meriton Holdings, to become a stable shareholder and provide substantial financial support to the club in the short and medium term.
Completion of the investment remains subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions precedent, including obtaining the relevant foreign investment control authorisations and approval from Spain’s National Sports Council (Consejo Superior de Deportes).
