Cuatrecasas advises Axaitra on Innovate acquisition
Cuatrecasas has advised Axaitra Group on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Innovate, a Spanish company specialised in cybersecurity and cloud security services based on Microsoft technologies. The transaction follows Axaitra’s recent designation as a Microsoft Frontier Partner and forms part of the group’s growth and specialisation strategy.
Through the acquisition, Axaitra combines its agentic AI capabilities with Innovate’s expertise in cloud security and data protection, aiming to offer companies across the EMEA region solutions for secure, responsible and efficient AI adoption, states Cuatrecasas. Innovate will gain access to a platform with European reach from which to expand the security model it has developed in Spain, while Axaitra strengthens its offering with specialised Microsoft security capabilities.
Within the group, Innovate will continue to operate under its own brand and management team, contributing to the development of the Microsoft and AI services platform driven by Axaitra.
