Clifford counsels banks, Cuatrecasas advises sponsors, on €211m PV refinancing
Clifford Chance has advised a syndicate of banks on a €211 million refinancing of a portfolio of wind farms located in Aragón (Spain), while Cuatrecasas has advised the sponsors
Abanca Corporación Bancaria, Banco de Sabadell, Bankinter, Société Générale and Unicredit Bank have refinanced €211,166,345.90 of a portfolio of wind farms for an approximate installed capacity of 350 MW, already built and located in several municipalities in the province of Aragon.
Clifford Chance’s core team consisted of Madrid Project Finance team led by partner José Guardo (pictured left) and formed by lawyers James Rodier (pictured bottom right)), Boris Alonso (pictured top right), Alejandro Cubillo (pictured top centre), María González.
On the other hand, Cuatrecasas has advised sponsors (owners) of the financed projects: Mirova, Engie and Forestalia, with a team formed by Agustín Cerdá Masip, Jaime Juan Rodríguez and Berta Kurtz.
