Clifford Chance partner joins Idealista´s Board

Clifford Chance Corporate M&A partner Samir Azzouzi has joined the Board of Directors of Idealista

The Board of Directors of Idealista has hired Samir Azzouzi Maanan (pictured), reputed M&A partner at Clifford Chance, where he joins as non-director secretary of the Board. He will be renponsible for providing Legal advice to the directors in the company´s decision-making process.

Samir Azzouzi specialises in domestic and cross-border M&A, with a particular focus on private equity transactions. Samir has advised financial investors and corporate clients on a wide range of matters, including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and disposals, mergers, joint ventures, restructuring and refinancing. He also has particular experience in the banks and energy & resources sectors.

He holds a Law degree and a Business & Administration degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE. He joined Clifford Chance in 2005 after two years at Uría Menéndez, was seconded to the London office in 2012 and made partner in 2017.

Azzouzi´s arrival  comes after the sale of the Real Estate platform to Swedish global investment company EQT for €1.3 billion, announced in September by Iberian Lawyer.
