Clifford Chance advises Banco Sabadell on the project financing of Forestalia’s €20,000,000 wind farm “El Coto”
Clifford Chance has advised Banco Sabadell on the financing for the construction of the wind farm, known as “El Coto”, for approximately €20,000,000.
The wind farm, owned by the Forestalia group, is located in Aragon and, in the context of its financing, a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed with GE Renewable Energy.
The multidisciplinary Clifford Chance team advising Banco Sabadell was led by partner José Guardo (pictured), with the support of project finance associates Gabriel Miranda and Claudia de Olaran.
In addition, associates Ángel Muñoz on derivatives, Carlos Carrera on tax matters, Mónica Romero on regulatory matters and Clara Ortells on real estate law matters collaborated with the core team.
