Clifford Chance acts for Crédit Agricole on €3.3bn Banco Santander deal

Clifford Chance advised Crédit Agricole on the combination of its asset management and securities deposit and custody business with that of Banco Santander.

The new combined business will hold €3.34 billion under custody and €1.83 billion of managed assets.

The operation involved a team of more than 100 lawyers working in more than ten jurisdictions.
