Bird & Bird promotes Jorge Sanz to partner in Madrid
Bird & Bird has promoted Jorge Sanz to partner in its employment department in Madrid. Sanz, who joined the firm in 2020 as counsel, brings over ten years of experience advising domestic and international clients on a broad range of employment law matters.
He holds a degree in Franco-Spanish Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2013) and has supplemented his academic training with specialist postgraduate programmes in France, the United States and the Netherlands. His practice covers restructuring processes, dismissals, social security matters, collective disputes and day-to-day HR advisory work. He also has experience conducting and defending litigation before both the social and administrative courts, as well as participating in collective bargaining negotiations.
