Baker Tilly advises Cygyc Biocon on sale to WVT Group
Baker Tilly has advised Cygyc Biocon and its shareholders on the company’s sale to WVT Group, a Belgium-based European group specialising in detergency, professional hygiene, industrial cleaning, disinfection and biosecurity solutions. The transaction strengthens WVT Group’s international growth strategy and expands its capabilities in enzymatic technologies, biotechnology, and research and development.
Following the completion of the deal, the combined group will have a presence in more than 70 countries and will exceed 250 employees. For Cygyc Biocon, the integration into WVT Group represents an opportunity to accelerate its international expansion, reinforce its commercial capacity and broaden the reach of its sustainable solutions in global markets.
This transaction marks the second strategic acquisition carried out since Siparex ETI entered WVT Group’s capital as majority shareholder in 2025, following the acquisition of Roam Technology.
