Baker McKenzie partner joins Pinsent Masons in Madrid

Baker McKenzie partner Pablo Dorronsoro has left the firm to join Pinsent Masons, where he will be the partner in charge of the firm’s public law practice.

 

Dorronsoro was head of Baker McKenzie’s public law department in Madrid. He was a partner at the firm for five years, prior to that, Dorronsoro was a partner at CMS Albiñana & Suarez de Lezo.

His career has also include spells working with the Ministry of the Interior and later with the Audiencia Nacional, where he was responsible for defending the state and other regulatory bodies in legal disputes. He has also served an arbitrator at the Spanish Court of Arbitration.

At Pinsent Masons, Dorronsoro’s work will focus on the energy, infrastructure and technology sectors in particular.

Pinsent Masons recently moved to its new offices at Serrano 90 in Madrid’s Salamanca district.
