Baker Mckenzie advises Iberdrola on Aalto Power´s purchase for €100m

Baker Mckenzie has advised Iberdrola SA on the acquisition of French Energy group Aalto Power SAS for €100 million

Iberdrola has closed a €100 million purchase of French renewable Energy group Aalto Power, which has an installed and operational capacity of 118 MW of wind power and a project portfolio of nearly 630 MW.

Marsella-based renewable Energy group Aalto Power is owned by French group Caisse des Depots et Consignations and Aiolos, and was advised by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) on this operation.

The deal becomes one of the biggest business transaction in the Energy sector in Europe since the beginning of the pandemic, reinforcing Iberdrola’s growth in France.
