Auren strengthens its audit practice in Murcia with 21 hires
Auren has strengthened its presence in the Region of Murcia with the integration of a 21-member audit team from BNFIX Auditores, led by Ramón Madrid Nicolás. The team comprises three partners and 18 professionals specialising in statutory audits and financial advisory services.
The three partners joining Auren’s Audit division are Ramón Madrid Nicolás, Francisco Javier Meseguer Espinosa and Ramón Madrid Martínez. The team has experience auditing private companies and public sector entities, reviewing grants and preparing expert reports, with clients across the agri-food, industrial, construction, transport and services sectors.
The integration will expand Auren’s audit capabilities in the region and strengthen its multidisciplinary offering, bringing the new professionals together with teams in its Legal, Consulting and Corporate divisions.
The profiles
Madrid Nicolás has decades of experience in auditing and previously served as president of BNFIX. He has been dean of the College of Economists of the Region of Murcia since 2008. Meseguer Espinosa specialises in group audits, accounting consolidation, insolvency administration and forensic economics, while also teaching at the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM). Madrid Martínez has worked in statutory auditing since 2012 and became a partner two years ago.
Mario Alonso, president of Auren Spain, said the move reflects the firm’s strategy of growing alongside teams that bring experience, specialisation and knowledge of their local markets. Francisco Miró, Audit partner in Murcia, welcomed the arrival of the team, highlighting its professional experience and Madrid Nicolás’s standing in the region.
