Antas da Cunha strengthens its urban planning team
Antas da Cunha Ecija has announced the expansion of its urban planning and territorial management team with the addition of Cristina Pires Pinto (senior associate) and André Levi (senior associate). Additionally, Ana Cláudia Teixoeira (solicitor) joins the firm’s solicitor unit.
According to Ana Borges, of counsel and head of the firm’s urban planning and territorial management department: “In recent years, the urban planning and territorial management practice has seen significant growth, driven by profound transformations in urban spaces, which have raised various urban planning and territorial management challenges, sometimes of great complexity.”
She adds: “These areas require increasingly experienced, dedicated, and multidisciplinary teams that can quickly provide clients with innovative and effective legal solutions, focusing on sustainability and balanced development. In this regard, we believe that the integration of two professionals with Cristina and André’s technical expertise will be a great asset to the firm.”
About Cristina Pires
Cristina Pires Pinto transits from the Office of the Minister of Agriculture and Food, where she has been a specialist legal advisor since 2021. In the past, she had worked at Vieira Fonseca e Associados, André Miranda & Associados and Pefaco Portugal. Cristina specializes in public law, urban planning and territorial management, public procurement and gaming law. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, a postgraduate degree in territorial planning at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, and another postgraduate degree in Administrative Procedure Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
About André Levi
André Levi joins from Telles, where he has been working in urban planning practice since 2022. Before that, he worked at PLMJ. André Levi has experience in legal advisory on real estate projects, urban planning procedures, territorial planning programs, as well as in public, regulatory, energy and environmental law. Levi holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, a master’s degree in Business Law at the Lisbon School of the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, where he also completed a postgraduate course in Tax Law. Additionally, he completed a postgraduate course in accounting for lawyers at the University of Lisbon and postgraduate courses in Public Procurement and Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, and Environmental Law at the University of Coimbra.
About Ana Cláudia Teixoeira
Ana Cláudia Teixoeira holds a solicitor training course from the Center for Judicial Studies and a degree in Solicitor Studies from ISCAD – Instituto Superior de Ciências da Administração. Over the years, she has completed various training courses in Registry and Notary Law, with a particular focus on Property Registration and Notarial Law, provided by UNIFOJ – Unidade de Formação Jurídica e Judiciária and the Order of Solicitors. Teixoeira has extensive experience in public administration, having worked as a solicitor at the Lisbon City Council. She has also been head of the Notary Division in the Municipal Directorate for Asset Management at the Lisbon City Council.
