Antas da Cunha Ecija advises Âncora Investments
Antas da Cunha Ecija has advised Âncora Investments on the acquisition of a Portuguese real estate company that owns a portfolio of properties located in Canelas, Vila Nova de Gaia, currently in the development phase. The properties form part of a larger urban project that includes integrated green spaces and shared areas, comprising approximately 49,000 square metres of approved above-ground construction area, with an estimated gross value of around 100 million euros.
The legal advice provided involved a multidisciplinary team and covered due diligence on all real estate assets, the definition of the urban planning model, resolution of licensing matters related to the project, corporate law aspects, and the drafting of contractual agreements associated with the project’s development. The team also negotiated and structured the Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA), implementing risk-allocation mechanisms and defining the conditions precedent to closing the transaction.
