Andersen lures partner from ECIJA

Andersen has hired Javier Bustillo, until now partner at ECIJA, to reinforce its M&A and Venture Capital areas

On his hiring, Javier Bustillo (pictured) declared: “There is no better way to start the year than having the opportunity to join a team of such a high level professionals and with such enthusiasm as those at Andersen in Spain. I am joining the M&A and Venture Capital area with the desire to add value to the team and to be able to do important things with our clients.”

Javier joins Andersen from ECIJA where he has been as a partner for more than one and a half year. He previously worked at Bustillo Abogados for eight years, where he was the managing partner before the firm´s integration in Andersen, and an associate professor at IE Law School for three years. He will work now in the team led by Ignacio Aparicio Ramos, who was recently interviewed by Iberian Lawyer in its February issue.

He graduated in Law from the Universidad Europea and also holds a diploma in Tourism from the Universidad San Pablo-CEU. He got his Master´s degree in Company Legal Advice from IE Law School, having several courses on Law Economic Analysis from Harvard University and an Executive Education in Merger & Acquisitions from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
