Andersen Iberia launches Miami hub

Andersen Iberia has launched a Miami Hub, a new operational base from which the firm will coordinate tax, legal and wealth-planning advice for Latin American, Spanish and international clients—including high-net-worth individuals, family businesses, investors and companies—with interests spanning Spain, Latin America, the United States and other markets. The hub became operational in Miami and will draw on the firm’s cross-border experience and its coordination of specialist teams in taxation, wealth planning, real estate investment, family business and business law.

The Miami Hub is led by Jorge Martínez Alemán, Counsel at Andersen, who has a background advising family businesses and high-net-worth individuals on tax and wealth matters. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Valencia and completed a Master’s in Taxation and a Master’s in International Taxation at CEF. Alongside his focus on international tax, he has experience in real estate transactions in Spain and tax advisory work for athletes. He has been nominated in the Chambers High Net Worth directory for 2023, 2024 and 2025, and is a member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Miami, Florida.

A multidisciplinary team for transatlantic operations

The Miami Hub will provide companies, investors and family estates with interests in Europe, Latin America and the United States with coordinated advice combining business insight, technical knowledge and international reach. When required, the hub will work alongside local teams and advisers to ensure responses are tailored to the specific needs of each transaction and jurisdiction. It will also draw on the support of Andersen Iberia’s teams in Spain and Portugal, giving it insight into the legal, regulatory and tax frameworks applicable to transatlantic operations. This is complemented by the resources of Andersen Global, which operates in 185 countries with more than 50,000 professionals worldwide; in Latin America the firm is present in 18 countries, and in the United States it has 30 offices and 2,500 professionals.

Through the hub, the firm will support clients in structuring and developing cross-border investments, corporate transactions and wealth projects, helping to identify opportunities, anticipate risks and provide legal certainty for decision-making in an increasingly complex global environment.
