Andersen hires new Labour head for its Valencia office

Andersen in Spain has incorporated Marta Navarro as head of the Employment Law practice in Valencia

The hiring has the aim of reinforcing the practice headed by Victoria Caldevilla, partner of the firm in the Madrid office. With this new signing, the firm adds a professional of reputed experience who will be in charge of supporting the team and developing the department in Valencia.

Marta Navarro has more than 20 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Andersen, she worked for twelve years for Uría Menéndez, where she was head of the Labour department in Valencia and, subsequently, she was head of the Legal department of the Divina Pastora Seguros Group for nine years.

Navarro has extensive experience providing comprehensive Employment advice to a broad portfolio of companies in different sectors such as services, cosmetics, insurance, logistics, transport and agri-food. Her areas of specialisation include comprehensive advice on Labour matters for companies, both from the perspective of prevention and conflict, highlighting her experience in advising on collective bargaining negotiations, strikes, processes of substantial modification of working conditions or dismissals, both collective and individual, among others, accompanying clients both in the phases of legal guidance and in the subsequent defence before the courts.

Along with her professional practice, Marta Navarro (pictured left) frequently gives seminars for different organisations and institutions such as the Valencia Bar Association or the National Association of Labour Lawyers, in addition to her teaching activity for different business schools.

The managing partners of Andersen, José Vicente Morote (pictured right) and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre have stressed that this new incorporation: “Reinforces the line of expansion of the firm and the project it has always maintained of developing complete practices in each of the offices in order to offer a comprehensive service to clients.” In this way, they continued: “The firm is consolidating its position as a reference in the Legal sector in Valencia, where it has more than 80 professionals who provide services in all areas of Law.”

Marta is a Business Law graduate from the Universidad de Derecho de Valencia.
