AMMC strenghtens its team with two new associates
AMMC Legal has strenghtened its team with the addition of two new lawyers, Ana Pires da Silva and Francisco Cordeiro Ferreira (both pictured).
About Ana Pires da Silvca
Ana Pires da Silva joins from Telles, where she worked in the areas of energy, natural resources, environment, and climate change. She joins the firm as a senior Associate, focusing her practice on environmental law, nature conservation, land use planning, real estate development, urban rehabilitation, and urbanism.
Between 2022 and 2023, Ana Pires da Silva was a contracted partner at Caldeira Pires & Associados, responsible for coordinating the environment and energy areas. Previously, she held the position of senior associate and coordinator of environmental Law at PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados. Ana Pires da Silva holds a law degree and a master’s degree in law with a focus on civil law sciences from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa.
About Francisco Cordeiro Ferreira
Francisco Cordeiro Ferreira served as chief of staff to the secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the XXIII Constitutional Government and joins AMMC as an associate in the areas of general administrative law, public procurement, litigation and arbitration, land use planning, real estate, urban rehabilitation, urbanism, and tourism.
He worked as an associate lawyer at Vieira de Almeida & Associados, focusing on environment, intellectual property, and real estate. From 2018 to 2022, when he transitioned to StartCampus as an in-house lawyer, he was deputy to the secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the XXI and XXII Constitutional Governments. Francisco Cordeiro Ferreira holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon, an LL.M in international business law from Tilburg Law School – Tilburg University. He has additional training in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
