AGM Abogados adds Employment partner from DWF-RCD

AGM Abogados has incorporated Jonathan Gil Mingorance as a partner in the firm´s Employment Law area, joining from DWF-RCD

Jonathan Gil is a lawyer with a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona(UAB), and has more than 16 years of experience in Labour Law, Social Security and Occupational Risk Prevention.

Jonathan has a long professional career advising large Spanish and multinational business groups. During his career, he has specialised in collective negotiation, internal flexibility measures, workforce restructuring (ERE, ERTE), production decentralisation processes, corporate reorganisations, transnational transfers of workers, and Labour audits.

He has worked for 13 years in the Labour Law area of DWF-RCD, becoming a partner in the firm’s Labour department, and was previously a lawyer at BDO Spain Labour department. In addition, Jonathan is a lecturer in the Master’s degree in Administrative Management at the Universidad de Barcelona (UB) and the Universidad Abat Oliba CEU (UAO), and in the Master’s degree in Labour LawLaw and the Master’s degree in Access to the Law Profession at Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE-Master in Laws).

He is also a regular speaker at the Association of Administrative Managers of Catalonia, the Association of Economists of Catalonia and the Association of Chartered Accountants and Business Graduates. He has been a leading lawyer in several prestigious international Legal directories.

Jonathan joins the Employment team, which he will coordinate together with current partners Joaquín Abril and Luis San José. With this new incorporation, AGM aims to strengthen the firm’s Labour Law area, which is very necessary given the current economic context and the growing demand and interest.
