Addleshaw Goddard advises Impact Bridge on the launch of its new investment vehicle
Addleshaw Goddard has advised Impact Bridge Asset Management (Impact Bridge) on the launch of its new IB Sustainable Agrifood Fund I Innvierte, which has a target size of up to €170 million.
This new vehicle arises from the need to develop sustainable practices in the agricultural and food sectors, identifying as objectives the social impact in Spain, the environment and the competitiveness of companies (SMEs, midcaps and small growing midcaps). Thus, it was decided to establish short- and long-term incentive plans with the senior management of each company and to link part of the executives’ variable remuneration to the achievement of predetermined impact objectives.
Founded in 2018, Impact Bridge is a Spanish collective investment scheme manager dedicated exclusively to quality impact investing. Addleshaw Goddard previously advised Impact Bridge on the structuring of IB Deuda Impacto España, the largest fund of its type in Spain.
The funds team advising Impact Bridge has been led by the managing partner of the funds team, Isabel Rodríguez, with the collaboration of associates Gonzalo Lozano and Nemesio Fernández.
