Abroading names Irma Cebrián as CEO
Abroading, Spain’s first alternative legal services provider (ALSP), has announced the appointment of co-founding partner Irma Cebrián as its new CEO, replacing her previous role as managing partner. The move coincides with the firm’s 15th anniversary and forms part of a broader structural reorganisation aimed at accelerating growth and reinforcing its market positioning.
Founded in 2011, Abroading built its model around legal process outsourcing (LPO), targeting the efficient management of recurring legal processes — a segment it argues traditional law firm structures were ill-equipped to serve. The firm has been ranked in Band 1 by Chambers and Partners in the Alternative Legal Service Providers category since that classification was introduced in 2021.
The profile
Cebrián herself has also received individual recognition from Chambers and Partners in the NewLaw category and brings over 20 years of experience in corporate legal advisory and legal function transformation.
Under Cebrián’s leadership, Abroading will maintain its focus on large-scale contract management, legal operations optimisation, recurring process outsourcing and flexible support services for in-house legal teams. A key strategic pillar will be the firm’s expanding offer around artificial intelligence governance — including AI usage audits, control framework design and risk management — targeting companies seeking to integrate AI tools responsibly within their business operations.
