Abreu advises Alberto Oculista on acquisition of Opticenter Group

Abreu Advogados has advised the Alberto Oculista Group on the acquisition of the Opticenter Group 

Abreu Advogados has advised the Alberto Oculista Group on the acquisition of Opticenter Group. This is, according to sources, the largest transaction of this type in the sector in Portugal. The purchase included 34 stores owned by three companies dedicated to the Retail and distribution of Optical Products.

The Alberto Oculista group is one of the largest optical brands in Portugal and has 38 years of history, with 70 stores in Portugal and internationally in Spain, more specifically in Madrid.

Abreu Advogados’ team involved in this transaction was coordinated by associated partner Eduardo Peixoto Gomes (pictured left) and had the participation of André Gouveia e Silva (pictured right), of counsel at Abreu Advogados Madeira.
