The labour law firm Abdón Pedrajas Littler, a leading firm in labour law, has appointed María Orio González as a partner, until now a senior associate of the firm, where she has developed her career as a labour lawyer since 2011.
An expert in labour law, Orio has 20 years of professional experience in advising on contentious and non-contentious matters for numerous national and multinational companies in various sectors of activity (banking, insurance, energy, distribution, tourism, services, media, new technologies, etc.), as well as in labour litigation at all levels, including the National High Court and the Supreme Court.
With a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master in Legal Practice from the Alta Escuela de Dirección de Empresas (AEDEM), María Orio has extensive experience in the design and implementation of the labour aspects of company or business unit transfers, collective dismissals, negotiation of collective agreements, collective proceedings for substantial modification of working conditions.
