A&O advises financing entities on €600m guarantee facility

Allen & Overy has advised BNP Paribas, BBVA, Banco Santander and Mizuho on a €600 million guarantee facility for Siemens Gamesa

The facility is related to the largest offshore wind project to date, Honrsea 2, with 1,400MW of power that will be capable of providing green energy to 1.3 million homes in the UK.

The guarantee line also incorporates an innovative sustainability structure with which the companies and Siemens Gamesa will finance an oncology research project.

Siemens Gamesa is a Spanish renewable energy multinational leader in offshore and onshore wind turbines and services.
