Andersen Iberia integrates CNA in Porto
Andersen Iberia has agreed to integrate CNA – Curado, Nogueira & Associados, a Porto-based firm that was also part of Andersen Global. The four female partners of CNA and their team will join Andersen’s Iberian structure once the integration takes effect.
Andersen Iberia already has an office in Porto. The addition of CNA will bring both teams together in the city and expand the firm’s capabilities in tax, corporate and M&A, restructuring and insolvency, employment and litigation. The aim is to strengthen advice to companies with interests in Spain and Portugal. The professionals will work in an integrated way, with coordinated access to the resources and specialisations of the whole firm.
Under the new set-up, Teresa Nogueira , Managing Partner of CNA, will join the Executive Committee in Portugal. Luísa Curado will join the corporate and M&A practice. Carla Malhão and Ana Reis will coordinate the tax practice in Porto.
Completing the Iberian unification
The transaction completes the process of unifying the firms that operated under the Andersen brand with independent structures in the Iberian Peninsula. The process began in Spain in 2017 and continued with the incorporation of a multidisciplinary team in Barcelona in 2022. Later that year, the firm integrated its Lisbon office into the Iberian structure With CNA on board, all Andersen teams in Spain and Portugal will operate under a single leadership and management.
The agreement also continues Andersen Iberia’s growth in Portugal. In April 2026, the firm incorporated PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados, reinforcing its structure and capabilities in the country.
