EY Abogados advises SGS on DOEL acquisition
EY Abogados has advised SGS on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Dominios Eléctricos (DOEL), a Spanish company specialising in testing, inspection and client support services for high-voltage electricity transmission and distribution networks. The transaction is expected to strengthen SGS’s ability to support clients in strategic projects linked to electrical infrastructure and the energy transition.
The team
The advice was provided by EY Abogados’ Corporate M&A and International Tax and Transactions teams. The Corporate M&A team was led by Nicolás Sierra and Francisco Silván, both Partners, together with Carmen Esteban, Director, and Luis Villafranca, Senior. The International Tax and Transactions team was made up of Elena Sánchez, Partner, and Henar Ramos, Senior Manager.
