Afianza appoints David Casas as consulting director
Afianza has appointed David Casas as consulting director, as part of its strategic plan to strengthen its advisory capabilities and accelerate growth across its client base.
In his new role, Casas will lead the development of strategic growth plans and operational improvement initiatives for the firm’s clients, with a particular focus on supporting medium-sized businesses through transformation and expansion projects.
The profile
Casas brings more than 20 years of experience in consulting and executive management. His appointment marks a return to Afianza, where he previously served as Consulting Director between 2018 and 2019.
Prior to rejoining the firm, he led transformation initiatives at B&B Hotels Iberia, overseeing an organisational transformation that supported the opening of more than 30 hotels. He also held leadership roles at Foodbox-Lateral, served as General Manager at Bere Casillas, and participated in strategic projects at Grupo VIPS.
Specialised in business growth strategies and operating model design, Casas has extensive experience advising medium and large-sized companies on expansion, digitalisation and performance optimisation. Alongside his corporate career, he is Director of the Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at EAE Business School and mentors startups through IE Business School and Madrid’s mentoring network.
