Martínez-Echevarría adds partner Manuel Mingot
Martínez-Echevarría has strengthened its Banking and Finance practice with the appointment of Manuel Mingot as partner. He joins from Ontier, where he most recently held a senior role in the banking and finance area.
Mingot brings close to 25–30 years of experience advising on corporate financing, debt restructuring, and both domestic and international real estate finance. His client base has spanned banks, financial institutions, and debt funds, with a particular focus on alternative financing through private debt. Prior to Ontier, he served as head of the Banking and Finance practice at the Madrid office of Squire Patton Boggs and as a partner in the banking practice at Cuatrecasas.
The profile
Mingot holds a law degree and a doctorate from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has also served as an associate professor of Commercial Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and regularly contributes to legal journals, collective works, and yearbooks.
His arrival complements an existing partner team that includes Carlos Gutiérrez Garzón, a specialist in financing transactions.
