DLA Piper promotes Francisco Bachiller to partner in Madrid

DLA Piper has promoted Francisco Bachiller Ströhlein to partner in its Madrid office. Previously serving as legal director within the corporate team, he brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial law and domestic and cross-border corporate transactions. His career has included stints in London and Dubai, and he holds an LL.M. from Columbia University in New York.

Ströhlein’s practice covers M&A, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, as well as complex cross-border corporate transactions — including acquisitions and disposals of shareholdings and businesses, multi-jurisdictional deals, strategic alliances and corporate reorganisations. He regularly advises Spanish groups on their overseas investments and international clients on transactions in Spain, working in close coordination with DLA Piper teams in the United States, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
