ALC Advogados joins Lex Mundi via Morais Leitão

ALC Advogados, the Angolan firm operating within the Morais Leitão Legal Circle network, has been elected as the exclusive Angolan member of Lex Mundi, the international network of independent law firms.

Founded in 1989, Lex Mundi brings together law firms across more than 125 jurisdictions and counts over 22,000 lawyers within its membership. ALC Advogados’ admission as the network’s sole Angolan representative grants the firm a single point of contact for clients operating across multiple geographies, with access to highly specialised legal resources in cross-border matters.

The Morais Leitão Legal Circle currently operates across Portugal, Singapore, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde and Timor-Leste. The admission of ALC Advogados to Lex Mundi is expected to strengthen the network’s capacity to deliver integrated legal solutions in strategically important markets.

Martim Krupenski, managing partner of Morais Leitão, stated that the selection of ALC Advogados as Lex Mundi’s Angolan member “confirms our commitment to a network built on robust local firms, with talent and standards of practice that are widely recognised, supporting domestic and international clients with the backing of a reference global network, ensuring consistency and quality.”

Catarina Levy Osório, managing partner of ALC Advogados, described the membership as “an enormous opportunity for the firm and for our clients,” adding that the integration into the network “reinforces our capacity to deliver high-quality legal services without discontinuity in cross-border contexts,” with particular focus on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and disputes.
